Boys Basketball - The U16 Boys Basketball team travelled to Chamberlayne Park School to play their third game of the season. Both teams were unbeaten but unfortunately we came unstuck going down 49-24. The boys played well despite having to play the game in a smaller gym hall causing more contact and less space for them to exploit and use their agility. Chamberlayne caused us many problems on the inside and we will have to come up with a different strategy should we play them again this season.

RoScA News

Aviva Community Fund - RoScA would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that voted for our project.  We are delighted to announce that we have just received an email confirming that we have received enough votes to become one of their award winners!  So once all the necessary forms have been completed we will be receiving £1,000 towards an all weather outdoor canopy to go over the 3 picnic tables previously purchased with RoScA funds.  The £1,000 will be put together with the money raised from Walk the Test Way last year and this year.

The Romsey School Carol Service at the Abbey - We will again be serving refreshments before and after the carol service on 11 December at the Abbey.  This time we will be outside the South Garth with a Christmas Market style stall serving mulled wine, hot chocolate (with cream and marshmallows) plus mince pies, Christmas biscuits and cakes. So make sure you come and visit us!

Refreshments at Parents Evenings - At each parents evening RoScA will now be serving teas, coffees and cold drinks plus a selection of cakes and biscuits.  We will be in the canteen area.  We hope to see you there!

RoScA can now take card payments! - We can now accept card payments as we have a new card machine that accepts all major credit and debit cards.  So don't worry if you didn't bring any cash! 😊
